On 20 October 1968, at the Mexico City Olympics, high jumper Dick Fosbury defied convention with a jump no one had seen before, and became Olympic champion. The piece turns this cult gesture into a choreographic allegory of transgression, blurring the line between sporting gesture and dance.

At each venue, local high jumpers and seniors join the artistic team after two workshops. Breathless bodies, timed bodies and athletic bodies pass the baton, in an ode to intergenerational movement around the symbol of the obstacle. A piece for all ages.
